Trina was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and began taking dance lessons from her mother at the age of 3 1/2. Her mom,
Katie (the owner of Katie's Dance Studio and Company in El Cerrito) taught her many different styles and to not only be a
dancer but a performer. Trina danced in fairs, rest homes, street fairs, and every other show she could get her hands on.
Through this constant performing she was able to grow as a dancer.
After Trina graduated from Hawaii Pacific University, with a degree in Psychology and a full-scholorship from being a part
of their dance team, she decided to move to the Los Angeles area. In L.A. she went to many auditions and experienced all
the highs and lows of being a dancer. She went on to dance at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure for three years
and did many industrials with them. She also was in the touring company of VeggieTales Live! After VeggieTales Live! she
toured internationally with Disney Latin America for A Christmas Fantasy. Her most thrilling professional dancing experience
was for Carnival Cruise Lines. She not only had a fantastic time cruising around the ocean but she got to do what she loves
best, dance.
Currently, Trina dances with the GregAngelo Velocity Dancers in the Bay Area. Recently, she has performed with Huey
Lewis at Teatro Zinzanni in San Francisco.
